Meet Katie

As the daughter of a Draftsman/Carpenter and an Artist/Mason, I have been connected to the field of real estate all my life. Growing up I fondly remember our small home in Farley, Iowa, and the continuous improvement projects our family worked on. I quickly developed a passion for working with my hands and in high school I began working for a small masonry business. As I tuckpointed, mixed mortar and eventually laid a few stones and brick myself, I observed the many trades and businesses that went into building homes. My intrigue with buildings and design flourished as I studied Spanish and Art at the University of Iowa and continued my education as I traveled to foreign countries. After considering Buenos Aires “home” for several years, I returned to Dubuque.

I want to help people improve their lives by assisting in their own real estate goals. I care about our community and have created a strong network within Dubuque and surrounding areas. My personal hobbies continue to keep me engaged with the community and provide wonderful opportunities for growth. I have excellent communication skills including speaking fluent Spanish which was developed while teaching this language for 20 years. I love learning and pride myself on providing meticulous, professional service.
