I approach the selling of each home by first setting a competitive price. I then begin the marketing process; placing ads, following up telephone inquiries and scheduling appointments with interested buyers. There is a lot of time and work involved in the selling of a home, but I help to alleviate the homeowner’s burden and their time commitment. With so many resources available to us, a Realtor may be able to help sellers obtain more for their property than if they attempted to sell it themselves. I can answer any questions on price, terms, possession, etc. And I try to remain objective in resolving buyer/sellers objectives. In 1995 I was recognized for my work by being named Realtor of the Year. In 1987 I was President of the Board of Realtors and the following year was recognized by this group for my Leadership and Dedication. In 1984 I was chairperson of the Dubuque Multiple Listing Service. I’m also very active in my community. I was Housing Commissioner for the City of Dubuque from 1999-2001. I served as president of the St. Patrick’s school board and served on their parish council. I’m a volunteer for Project Concern, assisting in the care of the elderly. I also started, and facilitated, a support group for the mentally challenged. I’m the mother of four children, who have since given me 12 grandchildren.
